ABOUT THE MAKER

"Hi! I'm Michelle Romo. I have developed countless characters over the years and have a focus in designing products for children including apparel, accessories, home decor, and toys.

For 20 years I have worked under the name Crowded Teeth and licensed my illustrations to companies all over the world. Some clients include Crate & Barrel, FAO Schwarz, and Loungefly.

I have also written and illustrated books for Abrams Appleseed, HOW Publishing and Workman Publishing, and have developed two tarot and oracle decks with Union Square & Co. My board book series, Spencer the Cat, was developed by Cartoon Network for an animated series (Shake, Shake, Shimmyvale)."
